Since 2005, I’ve worked in online communications in the nonprofit world. I’ve worn many hats over the years: writing, coding, design and strategy.
Currently, I serve as the Director of Digital Platforms at the U.S. Fund for UNICEF where I develop the organizational strategy on established digital products.
I also do pro bono work for some smaller non-profits:
- Reach Incorporated – They train older kids to tutor younger kids which helps both groups.
- Scott Carter Foundation – They’ve worked for year to raise money to find a cure for pediatric cancer.
I know a lot about how donors and members interact with non-profits online, and my goal is to help causes use the myriad tools available to them smartly and at a low cost. I’m a big proponent of decentralization and transparency in marketing and using technology to empower non-profit employees and donors to communicate freely.
