Using a nifty bit of code, you can actually put a little box on your own site that will always update with the most current Bassist Wanted strip. That’s right. I ain’t lyin’. Not even a pound. Not even one pound.
Check out the Link to Me page to get the code. And if you want to see what it looks like in action, here’s a site that already uses this.
And if you use this, do drop me a line and let me know. I just want to see what it looks like on your site.
My friend Greg is organizing Come Out and Play 2006 this weekend, and it sounds really fun.
Here’s the url:

And here’s a description from him:
It’s a big games festival. What are big games? Well, that’s what the festival’s for: we want to find out. But my hunch is they are games that have lots of people and use the real-world as part of the game. What?
Okay, they’re big scavenger hunts, projections of Space Invaders on buildings, capture-the-flag and fun. They take things like cellphones and subways and use them to help you play games with your friends. Better yet, check out our site for a better idea. These are the games we have at the festival:

While watching the loverly “The Show” with Ze Frank, I was introduced to Ray.
Ray’s daughter had a rough day at her job, and Ray decided to record a brief song for her. The main chorus is “I’m about to whip somebody’s ass.” It’s a nice, souldful, very cathartic little number.
Now, thankfully, since Ray figured other people might need help getting through their workday, he decided to put it on the Internet. It’s quite wonderful, and short. Listen to the mp3.
Ze Frank put out a call to remix this puppy, and several remixes were made. Much fun and catharsis has been had by all.
The only thing is, no one actually knows who Ray is, and the entire Internet (including you) is trying to track him down.
So if you know Ray, send him to Ze Frank’s forum, so they can give him a present.
