Back Bay is a comic strip developed for syndication for daily newspapers in 2003. I worked on it with Universal Press Syndicate for a little bit, but they ended up passing.
There’s a rabbit who’s innocent named Roonie. And then there’s also a squirrel who’s pessimistic named Flynn. And there’s others. Oh, and there’s ants.
They tend to get philosophical from time to time. But, you know, it’s not preachy or anything.
My name is Porter Mason, and I wrote and drew and inked and scanned and web designed all this myself.
No one helps me do anything because they are all jerks, and anyway I have a Charles Schulz Complex.
You can learn more about me if you like.
Or you can always check out my other comic strips:
- Bassist Wanted: A strip about music
- Johnny, the Mediocre Human: A strip I did while I was at Duke University in the late 90′s
I also wrote some funny essays for a site called T.J. Monkey’s.
If you’d like to heap praise upon me, you can send me an email.
